Volunteer at Equality for Children!

We need your help… no matter how much or little time you can spare.

Our campaign is run by a group of energetic and passionate volunteers. EFC volunteers include both members and allies of the LGBTQ+ community but having children is not a prerequisite for joining the EFC campaign. Our volunteers are typically people who want all children in the state to be treated equally, by having the right to be legally connected to the parents who love and care for them on a daily basis.

We want to hear from you!

We need people with all sorts of skill sets. There is no minimum weekly/monthly time commitment needed to sign up to our volunteer network, so even if you can only share our online content and email updates we want to hear from you.

What’s in it for you?

By volunteering for Equality for Children, you have the opportunity to make history, to help convince our government to act now. You can help ensure that all children living in Ireland are treated equally regardless of the gender or sexuality of their parents. What a legacy to leave behind!

As an Equality for Children volunteer you are:

  • Added to our email distribution list, providing them with updates on; campaign progress, upcoming events and information on upcoming projects that they can get involved with. In addition, volunteers are:

  • Invited to our regular volunteer meet-ups (currently run online) where new and existing campaign ideas are presented and discussed.

  • Given space to develop new skills and enhance existing ones. We have lots of volunteer roles available for you to choose from.

  • Provided with the opportunity to chat with like minded people, allowing you to build networks and even some long-lasting friendships.
